In honor of all the offers of help I received when my parents came into town unexpectedly with a medical crisis a couple of weeks ago, I'm giving away a copy of The Giving Tree

You know, I know I like the book, but it's been so ling since I've read it, I couldn't *specifically* tell you why ... I need to head to the library today.
ReplyDeletethis is one of my favorite books. I first read it when I was a substitute teacher in my daughter's second grade class. We read the book during circle time and I was touched by the tree's devotion to the young boy/old man. I'm mushy inside like that.
